Captain Randy Stallings

Upper Keys Rport
Boning in the KeysPermit fishing on fire around the upper and middle keys!!
It doesn't get any better for Permit on the flats! Tons of water on the flats have the Permit going crazy from Islamorada to Key Largo. Incoming tides on area flats have Permit feeding very heavily. Live silver dollar blue crabs and large shrimp are the ticket for the spin folks while a weighted crab pattern is the go to fly.
Snook and Redfishing is still going strong up in Flamingo. Flats runoffs and creeks draning the Glades have all been giving up fish. Shrimp tipped jigs as usuall, pilchards and pinfish are the go to baits. Of course the fish will also eat allmoct any well presented lure or fly while up on the flatas sightfishing, you just have to adjust your gameplan accordingly.

- Capt. Randy Stallings

Boat Name:
Boat Equipment: Capt. Randy uses two boats for his charter fishing services. For skinny water angling he uses a 16ft. Dolphin Superskiff for flyfishing/sightfishing the flats. When guiding larger groups or targeting live bait, Capt Randy chases em down with a 22ft. Ranger Bayboat

About Us!
I started fishing pretty early in life.Starting at about five years old.I would follow my mom around the ponds my uncles had on their farms in North Carolina.Mostly catching Bream and Crappie on old cane poles. After a few years and countless Bream I made the change to Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass. For a very long time all that I did was fish for Bass, eventually fishing in tournaments for about thirteen years. Most of the time fishing the Virginia B.A.S.S., Redman Piedmont and Northeast divisions and team events from North Carolina to New York. Then I came to the Florida keys.!! Needless to say I was hooked, the crystal clear flats and the dark backwaters of the Everglades are all I think about! I am a hard working competetive guide that loves leaving the dock in the morning to flyfish for giant Tarpon,Bonefish or Permit.I also enjoy loading the boat with live bait and heading into the backcountry with a new angler(young or old) for a fun day of catching anything that bites.
