   Change is in the air and in the water! With the days getting longer and the water getting warmer, the snook bite has really started to get good and I feel it will only get better. We are still catching some nice snook in the north and south forks of the St. Lucie River. The bait of choice for me has been the D.O.A. C.A.L. shad tail and the D.O.A. terror eyz. I have been working the baits slowly across mud flats and mangrove edges. The bridges in the area are producing sheep head, black drum, snook and some nice trout. Off shore we have started to see some cobia and the large jack caravel are making a show. The Spanish mackerel are still with us and should be here through may. Introduce someone new to fishing and make some good memories. Until next week, see you on the water.
